Abdul Popal oversees all content and Intellectual Property issues and is responsible for developing strategic partnerships both domestically and internationally. This entails all contract negotiations, deal structuring and legalities, through complete execution. Popal assumed this post after serving as VP of Operations shortly after joining CafePress in 2000. He played a foundational role in developing the Company's early stage operations and infrastructure including human resources, accounting, finance, legal and customer service. Prior to joining CafePress, Popal held various senior management positions in Finance and Operations. Abdul holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Strategic Management and Marketing. In his spare time, Popal is active in community development, and enjoys spending time with his family. Popal is an avid auto enthusiast and likes to build and drive race cars. His current project is turning a classic Mini Cooper into a speed freak with a hybrid engine. He enthusiastically adds, "It should be faaaasssst!" |
