An accomplished R & D professional in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years Dr. Alam is responsible for leading Akorn�s Research and Development program.
Dr. Alam has spent his entire career specializing in the research and development of branded/generic pharmaceuticals in both the prescription and over-the-counter markets.
Prior to Akorn Inc. Dr. Alam held numerous Senior Management roles in the pharmaceutical industry with organizations such as: Lyphomed (currently American Pharmaceutical Partners ) American Critical Care Adria Laboratories and Rohm & Haas.
Dr. Alam also served as a management consultant to NeoPharm Carbomed and Unimed in the pharmaceutical industry.
Additionally Dr. Alam�s impressive credentials include 45 published papers and publications; 13 U.S. patents issued; and an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois. |
