Ada Liu is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and a member of the Global Project Finance Group. Prior to joining the Hong Kong office, Ada was an associate in Milbank's New York office for two and a half years.
Ada's experience includes representing lenders and sponsors in a variety of international project, s/tructured and financing transactions.
Recent transactions include: representation of lenders in the KEPCO Shanxi acquisition financing; Hynix-ST China project financing; MACH Gen, LLC, owner of several power plants located throughout the United States in its $1.4 billion restructuring and entering into of certain commodity hedging transactions, and assisting them in the secondary market loan and debt-related asset transactions, representation of the senior arrangers in the project financing for the development of two gas-fired peaking plants in Texas, representation of Citibank in connection with a $70 million loan facility guarantied by OPIC, to support certain letters of credit issued by the Trade Bank of Iraq, representation of Credit Suisse, as Arranger in a $1.3 billion recapitalization of Boston Generating, LLC and representation of the sponsor in its $10 billion investment in the construction and financing of 11 new power generation units in Texas.
Ada is a member of the Bar of the State of New York. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She received her B.A. (cum laude ) from Wellesley College and her J.D. from Cornell Law School. |
