Adam Farris joined Object Reservoir in 2005 as Accounts General Manager and was promoted to Vice President, Technology Adoption in February of 2006. In his current position, Farris will lead software development and training teams focused on the company's customers and users.
Farris has a decade of industry experience, including geology, petrophysics, drilling, completions, production operations, and reservoir engineering. Before Object Reservoir, he served as Account Leader at Landmark Graphics Corp. In this role, he managed Landmark's software and consulting services business worldwide for BHPBilliton, Kerr McGee, and EOG, as well as co-managed Burlington, Hunt Oil, and Newfield. During his tenure at Landmark, Farris held positions, such as Business Development Manager, Principle Drilling and Completions Consultant and Market Development Manager.
Farris began his career at Baker Atlas GEOscience/ Baker Hughes as a log analyst/field engineer after earning a bachelor of science in chemistry from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. He has also done post-graduate work in Chemical Engineering and Business, and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. |
