Adam Oyebanji is an associate at Eimer Stahl Klevorn & Solberg LLP. He is a trial lawyer with extensive litigation experience in both the United States and Great Britain. Trained originally as a barrister in England, Adam has tried several hundred cases of varying size and scope on behalf of individuals, municipalities and large corporations involving issues of breach of contract, fraud, products liability, due process, torts, property rights and others. His experiences include the following: Defending broker-dealers in NASD arbitrations Defending various corporations in securities class actions Investigating and litigating allegations of white collar fraud Representingcorporations in a variety of commercial disputes often involving cross border transactions and/or arbitration. Representing defendants and plaintiffs in restraint of trade matters in both the U.S. and U.K. Trial and appellate representation of defendants in product liability cases Representing defendants in currency hedging dispute involving French and German counterparties Pro bono criminal trial and appellate work Between leaving the English Bar and joining Eimer Stahl, Adam was an associate with the Chicago office of Sidley Austin Brown & Wood. Adam received his English law degree from the University of Birmingham in 1986 and his American J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude). Adam is also an adjunct professor at DePaul Law School, where he teaches Comparative Law. |
