Adam Solomon is currently chairman of StoneWater Capital, which runs an unusual fund of funds focused on investing in exceptional fundamental managers, located in Asia (ex-Japan) and investing in leading Asian small/mid cap public stocks that benefit directly from the growth of the emerging middle class. Previously, Adam was a partner at Warburg, Pincus, one of the largest venture banking firms in the world, where he co-invested with Jim Bartlett who is also a Fallbrook director and co-chairman of the Board with Adam.In between Warburg Pincus and StoneWater Capital, Adam was chairman of Shaker Investments, a $2 billion plus asset management firm which invested in public growth stocks and owned one of the top long/short hedge funds during the market downturn of 2000-2002. Over a ten-year period, the firm grew from $4 million to over $2 billion in assets under management. Shaker offered a growth equity, long-only product and a long/short hedge fund.Adam holds a B.A. from Oxford University and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School/MIT. |
