Adrienne L. Stevens is president of L-3 Avionics Systems, with facilities in Michigan, Ohio, Arizona and Florida. Avionics Systems is a leading worldwide development and manufacturing organization of safety of flight products for military, business and general aviation aircraft. Prior to being named Avionics Systems president in 2003, Ms. Stevens was business unit director overseeing sales, marketing, contracts, engineering and customer support activities, including strategy, new product development, flight test and sustaining improvements for all Avionics Systems products. Before joining Avionics Systems in 1993, Ms. Stevens was an accomplished commercial pilot. With over twenty years of experience in the aviation industry, she also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology and Operations from Western Michigan University and completion of Executive Masters of Business Administration programs through the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School. Since 2003, Ms. Stevens has served on the Board of Directors for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). She also serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Aviation at WMU. Her flight experience exceeds 1,500 hours with instrument, multi-engine and flight instructor ratings. |
