Ahmed S. Hassanein is Senior Vice President of FBR Investment Management, Inc. ("FBRIM"). Mr. Hassanein has over ten years of industry experience and is responsible for operations oversight of both the Alternative Asset Management and Private Wealth Groups. Prior to joining FBRIM, Mr. Hassanein was part of Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, Inc.'s ("FBR") Principal Investing Group where he was responsible for the administration, marketing and investor relations of two commercial paper conduits with a combined program size of $17 billion. Prior to that, Mr. Hassanein spent over six years in FBR's finance department and served in various capacities including Corporate Controller. Before joining FBR in 1997, he spent three years at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Mr. Hassanein received his M.B.A. in Finance from Marymount University, his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
