Mr. Shaaban is the Managing Director of Fulcrum Chicago Corp. He has extensive experience with strategic management and is a decorated executive in the technology and management services sectors. As the CEO of Millennium Information and Technology Consultants, he grew the company to a market leader in several verticals serving many of the Fortune 500. His organization pioneered the development of several of today's most strategic enterprise innovations including IT asset valuation and recognition methods for the M&A process, ERP outsourcing management, Client Centric Marketing Models for e-service organizations, and Internet Commerce models designed to develop brand (by re-purposing media vehicle content). Prior to MIT, Mr. Shaaban spent four years at Abbott Laboratories where he provided thought leadership and management innovation in Research Computing Information Science and Scientific Information Application Management. His progressive management style and contributions brought worldwide recognition and the ITIE Worldwide Excellence Award for Interactive Development and Technologies to Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Shaaban maintains a deep competence in Biotechnology noted by past Advisory and Board Appointments to Public and Private Companies. While earning, and after receiving his BS in Biomedical Engineering, he concentrated on oculomotor and vestibular research within the Cambridge/Boston Research Triangle Network - Harvard (Brigham's and Women's Hospital), Boston University (Boston City Hospital), and MIT (Lincoln Laboratories). Mr. Shaaban left Boston in 1988 for Chicago where he began his career as Strategic Marketing Director for a Midwest Health Care Provider steering its growth to the fourth largest of its kind nationally. He and his partners later founded The Wellness Association. Mr. Shaaban completed his MBA at Loyola University of Chicago with concentrations in Marketing and Finance. |
