With the acquisition of Briyante Software Corporation in November 2003, Mr. Kassam joined Visiphor as Vice President of Technology & Development, Chief Technology Officer, and Director. Previously, as President & CEO of Briyante Software Corporation, Mr. Kassam oversaw the firm�s expansion from an R & D organization to a successful developer and marketer of data-sharing products in the North American Justice market. Prior to this, he was a co-founder and Managing Partner of Benchmark Technologies Inc., an IT consulting firm engaged in the development of custom software for business-to-business data exchange. Mr. Kassam has 24 years of information technology experience, including work as a Senior Consultant with Westech Information Systems, and several years with Computer Associates International. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. A Microsoft Certified Professional, Mr. Kassam has spoken worldwide on the topics of disparate database integration and systems development. |
