Alan B. Cardenas is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He comes to the firm from Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York.
Alan has represented purchasers and sellers in a broad range of transactions involving both public and private companies in various industries. His practice focuses primarily on corporate and securities matters including acquisitions, divestitures, strategic transactions, and general contract preparation.
In General. Alan received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law Newark in 2002, where he was a Judge John Dios scholarship recipient. During law school, he served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr., U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He was also on the executive committee of the Moot Court Board and the Association of Latin American Law Students. Alan graduated with degrees in history and political science from Rutgers University in 1998, where he was a member of the Cap & Skull Honor Society.
Alan is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and is a member of the National Hispanic Bar Association. |
