Dr. Alan E. Jones is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of IPWireless. Dr. Jones has been with IPWireless since its inception in 1999 and is responsible for systems engineering and standards. Dr. Jones began his career at IPWireless as Technical Director and was responsible for system engineering, the IPWireless solution for mobile broadband data. Prior to joining IPWireless, Dr. Jones held lead engineering roles at Motorola and Hewlett Packard Laboratories.
Dr. Jones holds several patents in wireless communications and has published numerous technical papers in the field of communications. He holds Ph.D and Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bradford. |
