Alan J. Schwartz is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's New York office. He is a member of the Tax Department.
Alan practice focuses on the U.S. and international tax aspects of structured finance transactions, financial products and investment funds. He advises a broad spectrum of market participants, including securities issuers and sponsors, underwriters, investment advisors and asset managers, with respect to the tax considerations involved in various types of securities offerings and structured finance and asset securitization transactions, including Collateralized Debt Obligation offerings.
Alan also has experience with respect to the tax aspects of forming and structuring complex investment structures, including hedge funds and private equity partnerships.
Alan is admitted to practice in New York.
