Alan is a former editorial page editor of the Courier-Post, based in Cherry Hill, N.J., an 80,000-circulation daily. A winner of numerous national, regional and state journalism awards, he most recently held a similar title and responsibilities with Elauwit in Staten Island, N.Y., where he oversaw the successful launch of the Staten Island Source, the Island�s only alternative weekly newspaper. Alan is responsible for all editorial operations and production of Elauwit's newspapers, as well as the day-to-day operations of the company. Alan is also the founder and president of Profitable Papers, LLC, a company that provides research, analysis and consulting to small to mid-sized weekly newspapers. |
