ALAN BERTOZZI was born and raised in Modesto, California. He graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Political Science. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Southern California and worked for NBC as a page. He then began work as an advertising copywriter for Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked mainly on the Microsoft and Mattel accounts (yes, he did some Barbie commercials not exactly the high point of his professional life). After five years at Ogilvy & Mather, he went to another ad agency, DavisElen, where he worked on Knotts Berry Farm, Toyota Dealers of Southern CA and San Diego counties as well as some regional McDonalds accounts. Alan and his wife, Chris, made the decision to move and raise their two daughters in Northern California. They chose Santa Rosa, and Alan decided to use the relocation as an opportunity to change careers and finally follow in his fathers footsteps and embark on a path to become a CPA. Linkenheimer LLP welcomed Alan into the firm during the 2003 tax season. |
