Alan Mann has been practicing law for 14 years and has recently joined the firm of Johnston, Moore, Maples & Thompson. He is primarily responsible for handling real estate matters on behalf of the firm. He has extensive experience in the real estate field. Alan is also an experienced trial lawyer.
He served as Assistant District Attorney for Madison County from 1993 to 1998 where he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases. Since being in private practice, Alan has handled over 1,000 criminal defense cases. He has handled more than a dozen murder cases and has tried several death penalty cases.
He is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Alan received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in 1990 and his law degree from Jones School of Law in 1993. As a native of Madison County, Alan believes strongly in working to better this community, to protect the rights of its citizens, and to go the extra mile to help its people with their legal needs. |
