Alan Miles, the principal of Alan Miles & Associates, has been a legal search consultant since 1986, placing attorneys in law firms and corporations throughout California. Since opening his own firm in 1998, Alan now exclusively works with partners, practice groups, and law firm mergers. His personable approach to recruiting has resulted in lasting friendships, as well as solid business relationships and a respect for his ability to make a successful match. Coming from a family of attorneys, Alan eagerly made the transition to legal recruiting after 20 years of working in the music industry. Although Alan tasted numerous successes, having several original songs published and recorded, upon the birth of his first child, he desired a lifestyle that would keep him closer to home.
