Alan Steiner is responsibile for SRHS's capital planning and construction management. He is working with all levels of management to prioritize future capital improvements, including regular equipment replacement�an effort that will impact future construction endeavors for the System. Steiner is involved with city, county and community members (neighbors) in collaboration to ensure appropriate movement so each capital project is met with success.
Steiner has over 31 years in the management of projects, people and services at SRHS. During his tenure, he has managed multiple departments, including materials management, biomedical engineering, safety, housekeeping, facilities and planning, and construction and building projects. Also under Steiner's supervision, SRHS became the first hospital in the United States to receive the OSHA (VPP) Star Status.
Steiner received his master of business administration (MBA) from Ashland University and holds a bachelor of arts from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is a member of the Legislatives Issues Committee with the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce. Steiner resides in Ashland with his wife. |
