Wlasuk, Delporte and Davis is the third company that Alan conceived and helped found. Alan received the AT&T Bell Labs Fellow award in 1988, recognizing his technical and business ability in starting AT&T's Truevision (now part of a publicly held company trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange) and AT&T Graphics Software Labs (now the Software Solutions Group of Lucent Technologies). Twenty-six years of experience has provided Alan with the ability to mold the vision and drive that goes into new products into real companies. More importantly, these years have provided him with the ability to produce products upon which companies can be built. As the president of Wlasuk, Delporte and Davis, Alan ensures that every product that WDD develops contains the same vision, quality, and attention to detail that went into each of the products that his other companies so successfully built and sold. When Alan is not at WDD, he spends most of his time with his girls and his wife. Alan is a fit-for-life person who exercises daily. In his spare time, he administers the network at Geist Christian Church and serves on the Board of Advisors of TCLogic Education: Received B.S. Degree in Mathematics from Drexel University in 1974 and a M.S. in Computer Science from Ohio State University in 1976. |
