Alastair Wilson is Counsel in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. He is a member of the Pensions and Incentives Department, where his practice focuses on compensation structuring; co-investment; share and share option programmes; bonus and profit participation programmes; deferred compensation programmes; local and global pension plans; structuring employee retention plans; cross-border employment and assignment structuring; negotiations with taxing authorities; defence against tax authority investigations; conduct of tax litigation.
Alastair's principal clients include: Bank of America, Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse First Boston, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Credit Suisse Private Banking, J.P. Morgan Chase, Nomura International, UBS AG.
Before joining McDermott Will & Emery, Alastair qualified as a barrister and practised in professional tax chambers for 8 years, and was then a tax partner in London with a major international firm, dealing with UK and international tax.
