Alberto L. Satine joined AAM in June 2001 as general manager, International Operations, and has more than 20 years of international automotive supplier experience. He served as general manager, Latin/South America Driveline Sales/Operations; executive director, Global Procurement- Direct Materials; and vice president, Procurement prior to assuming his current position in November 2005. Prior to joining AAM, Satine held various senior management positions at Dana Corporation, including regional president for the Andean Operations, General Manager for Spicer Transmission Division in Toledo, and vice-president of operations for Dana Venezuela.
Satine, a native of Venezuela, holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela and master of science degrees in industrial and operations research engineering, mechanical engineering and metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan. |
