Aleksandr Rudkevich, Vice President, has more than 25 years of experience in energy economics, regulatory policy, and strategic planning. Dr. Rudkevich manages projects and directs analyses of economic, policy, and technical issues related to the electric and natural gas industry deregulation; market design; simulation and theoretical analysis of markets for electric energy, capacity, ancillary services, financial transmission rights, and marginal losses; analyses of market power and mitigation measures; cost-benefit analyses; valuation of generation and transmission assets; and fuel price forecasting. Prior to joining CRA in 2004, Dr. Rudkevich was a director of modelling with Tabors Caramanis & Associates, a senior scientist at Tellus Institute, a consultant on Soviet oil and natural gas industry with Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), and a senior researcher at the Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Dr. Rudkevich has testified extensively before state and federal energy regulatory agencies and has written articles for the Energy Journal, Electricity Journal, Decision Support Systems, and Energy Exploration & Exploitation. He served as an invited referee for the Energy Journal, IEEE Proceedings on Power Systems, Operations Research, European Journal of Operations Research, and Mathematical Methods of Operations Research. |
