Alex Shumate has served as a member of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company Board of Directors since 1998. He is Chairman of the Compensation Committee.
Shumate became a partner in the global law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in 1988. Since 1991, he has been Managing Partner of the firm's Columbus office, and he leads the firm's legislative counseling and administrative law activities. Previously, he served as Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ohio and as Assistant Attorney General to Ohio.
Shumate also serves on the boards of directors of National Financial Services and Cincinnati Bell. |
