Alec is an associate in the business law department. His practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate law matters. Alec has advised clients in connection with various financing transactions, securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions and regularly represents clients in connection with the preparation of Federal Trade Commission filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.

Represented buyer in connection with the acquisition of manufacturer of hardwood and softwood stair parts, synthetic and wood columns and related building products for the residential housing market.
Represented equity sponsors in the acquisition of a national automotive services franchisor.
Represented a national manufacturer and distributor of home entertainment products in its sale to a private equity group.
Represented initial purchaser in a $125 million offering of high yield debt securities of a publicly-traded dealer of leaf tobacco.
