Alexandra S. Bernay earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism at Humboldt State University, receiving the Society of Professional Journalists Outstanding Graduate Award. After college she worked for a number of years as a reporter at a daily newspaper in Northern California. Ms. Bernay received her Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. While at the University of San Diego, Ms. Bernay served as a Comments Editor for the San Diego Law Review and as a representative of the university's Public Interest Law Foundation at the national conference. She previously worked as an intern at the San Diego office of the American Civil Liberties Union. Ms. Bernay's practice focuses primarily on the prosecution of complex securities cases. She is a member of the Enron litigation team, which has recovered $7.3 billion for investors to date. |
