Alex is responsible for establishing Eliza's leadership position in the healthcare marketplace. She leads marketing strategy and business development efforts at Eliza, and works with existing and potential customers to better understand how Eliza's technology can enable and support behavior change. Alex also works with the development teams to translate end-user behavior into interface design and performance standards. Alex came to Eliza from Tesseract, Inc., where she researched, designed, and launched a web-enabled injury tracking system, as well as a practice management software system that automated over 300 dialysis clinics across the US. Prior to Tesseract, Alex co-founded The Axon Group. Axon developed a metered-dose inhaler device shown to dramatically improve asthmatic's compliance with prescribed treatment regimens. Prior to Axon, Alex held positions at firms specializing in healthcare strategy consulting and venture capital. Alex holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Tufts University, Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude, and is a member of the Health Executive Leadership Forum. |
