Alexandre Gouv�a leads Equant's Customer Services and Operations.
He is responsible for providing "Outstanding Customer Experience" by delivering best-in-class end-to-end quality of service to Equant's customer with ever-improving productivity.
As the most prominent customer-facing entity in Equant Customer Services and Operations delivers around-the-clock global services and support for standard extended and customized solutions. Through a combination of key shared technical resources and operations in the field this organization seizes every customer interaction as an opportunity to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Based in Paris Alexandre reports to President and CEO Barbara Dalibard and is a member of the Executive Committee responsible for settin g the overall strategy for the company.
Since 1998 Alexandre led the customer services and service delivery for Equant's portfolio of Integration Network and Managed services and held different corporate executive positions in Equant since the creation of the company including Field Operations Equant Global Network operations and Security.
Before joining Equant he worked for SITA where he was responsible for Engineering and Operations in Latin America for SITA and for the SITA Equant Network Operations worldwide.
Before joining SITA Alexandre worked for Embratel in Brazil where he served in a number of management positions one of which was for the deployment and operations of the Brazilian domestic satellite program -- the first satellite to be operated from the Southern Hemisphere.
Alexandre holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Veiga de Almeida University Rio de Janeiro Brazil in 1986 and earned a MBA in 1996 from the Federal University in Brazil. He is a Brazilian citizen and speaks four languages: Portuguese English French and Spanish.
Alexandre is married and has two sons. When he is not busy with work he enjoys taking time out to visit the French countryside on his motorbike. |
