Ali Tabrizi is responsible for leading E2open's overall software development, customer deployment, trading partner on-boarding and customer support. Tabrizi's focus is on the development of new products and technologies and the successful deployment of the company's software.
He brings over 15 years of experience in the delivery and support of mission-critical software for Fortune 500 customers worldwide, ranging from mainframe to Internet-based products. Before joining E2open, Tabrizi was responsible for managing product development teams at IBM Tivoli. Tabrizi managed delivery of its monitoring family of products that contributed more than $200 million in revenue. Prior to that, Tabrizi helped manage and oversee IBM's acquisition of DASCOM, a web security management technology vendor. Based on technology acquired from DASCOM, Tabrizi led IBM Tivoli's successful delivery of the first four releases of IBM Tivoli Access manager, building a multimillion-dollar line of business with a product that achieved strong recognition in Gartner's "magic quadrant" rankings. Before that, Tabrizi led the initial launch and development of a variety of IBM security products, including such market-leading IBM brands as IBM PKI, IBM Java Security, IBM Global Sign On, IBM SecureWay and IBM Policy Director. Tabrizi managed a team of more than 150 IBM employees at multiple sites in the U.S. and overseas. Tabrizi received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado and completed graduate course work for computer engineering at Syracuse University in New York and the certified graduate program for software project managers at the University of Texas at Austin. |
