Alice Ann Schwartz serves as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations. Ms. Schwartz's dual role is to ensure the IT and clinical systems are integrated to meet the operational, business, and clinical needs of the organization. Employed with Amedisys since 1997 and having functioned in several critical positions within the organization, she assumed the position of Vice President of Operations in 2001, charged with restructuring the company's operational systems. She was subsequently promoted to Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations in 2003 and is responsible for the organization's quality infrastructure. Prior to entering the home care sector, Alice Ann was employed in the acute care trauma and cardiovascular surgery intensive care settings at The Adam Crowley Shock Trauma Center and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Johns Hopkins University. |
