Alice E. Meyer is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Miami office. She is a member of the Trial Department.
Prior to joining McDermott, Alice was an associate at two Miami law firms. In addition to drafting numerous pleadings and orders for state and federal courts, she conducted successful mediations and was active in a variety of litigation, including a major class action and the recovery of nearly $2 million for an international investor. She has also been successful in assisting applicants for asylum in the United States.
Alice is a chartered financial analyst, and before beginning her practice, she was a founding partner and systems manager at an international investment advisory firm that became UBS Global Asset Management.
During law school, Alice was executive editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review. She was a recipient of the Zbar Memorial Scholarship, Paul Anton Scholarship, and Dean�s Merit Scholarship. She was awarded Dean�s Certificates of Achievement in copyright law and family law and was twice a Dean�s Fellow.
Alice is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
