Alicia Kolhoff joined IRN, Inc. in 1989. Since 1999, Alicia has been a member of the research staff where she is responsible for conducting primary and secondary market research; authoring custom research reports; and supporting IRN�s strategic planning and business development activities.
Specific examples of her work include gauging the potential of new automotive seating technologies; analyzing the business of a supplier of rear seat entertainment products for an interested investment company; determining the potential for a new supplier in an existing automotive product market; comparing geographic regions to determine a location for a new supplier facility; evaluating whether a large capital machinery investment for a supplier is necessary; surveying the telematics industry for thoughts on where the next big product will come from; and researching the motorsports industry. Alicia also frequently provides customer and competitive analysis reports for clients.
Prior to 1999, Alicia was part of IRN�s automotive forecast team. In that role, she assisted with creating and producing data for IRN�s quarterly Autofutures forecast. In addition, she was primary author of IRN�s monthly sales and production update, and the point person for IRN�s "parts list" customers. Alicia still works closely with IRN's current forecast team helping manage customer relationships as well as assisting IRN's "parts list" customers with the marrying of Autofutures� forecast data to their specific automotive components (most often using Autofutures� Forecaster software).
Alicia is also responsible for the administration, analysis, and output for IRN's biennial supplier survey report titled, "The Dynamics of Price Reduction Requests."
Alicia is a graduate of Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in Allendale, MI, where she earned a B.A. degree in business administration with a management emphasis. |
