Professional Experience This BBK professional has been serving credit management clients for more than 28 years. She has trained a variety of credit, collections, sales and non-financial personnel in the art of profitable credit and collections techniques; she has also authored and managed the implementation of numerous credit and collections policies and procedures manuals. Prior to BBK, Alin was Corporate Credit Manager of Handleman Company. In this role she directed all credit and collection aspects of a $300M accounts receivable portfolio and was responsible for cash application, cash forecasting and DSO budgetary requirements. Alin also authored and implemented new credit and collections policies and procedures across all domestic and foreign business units. She built strong relationships with internal and external customers and inspired excellence in expeditious workflow, customer deduction management and dispute resolution. She accomplished loss minimization and overall portfolio success, most notably reducing DSO for a troubled subsidiary from 109 to 72 day resulting in the profitable asset sale of this business unit. As Credit Consultant for U.S. Associates, Inc., Alin minimized A/R write-off and future bad debt reserve requirements while improving cash, profit and customer retention positions. She worked closely with the owner to reorganize the credit, collections and cash management business segments which enhanced the successful sale of this privately held enterprise. |
