Alison L. Galer, a member of the firm, devotes her practice to a broad range of banking and commercial litigation matters. Her practice primarily involves all phases of banking litigation including forged check and negotiable instrument claims, UCC matters, breach of fiduciary duty claims, lender liability cases, consumer claims including improper loan servicing, consumer fraud, truth in lending violations and yield spread premiums, improper disposition of collateral, as well as varied creditor matters. Alison has extensive experience in asset-recovery matters and commercial and residential foreclosures, having handled 7-figure commercial foreclosures and actively overseeing portfolios of residential foreclosures and deficiency actions. In addition, Alison is experienced in seeking recovery of assets through replevin actions and UCC sales involving a wide range of collateral.
Alison also handles fraud and stock fraud claims, business torts, forgery cases, and shareholder disputes. A significant portion of her practice is also devoted to representing transportation clients with respect to varied disputes. Alison regularly appears in both state and federal court. She has also been a speaker on a variety of banking law topics. Alison joined the firm in 1993 after clerking for the Honorable L. Anthony Gibson, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division, Atlantic County. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Somerset Valley YMCA. |
