Alison M. Levin is an associate in the Washington D.C. office of McDermott Will & Emery LLP. She is a member of the Trial Department. Alison's practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on commercial contract disputes and business torts. She has represented clients in class actions, commercial arbitration, and other complex litigation.
In addition to her litigation practice, Alison has also advised clients regarding the SAFETY Act. During law school, she authored "The SAFETY Act of 2002: Implications for the Government Contractor Defense," 34 Pub. Cont. L. J. 175 (2004).
Alison also represents pro bono clients on various matters, including enforcement of children's rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and child custody disputes.
During law school, Alison was a member of the Public Contract Law Journal, and interned at the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Additionally, she served as President of the George Washington University Law School Moot Court Board and as a Dean's Fellow, teaching legal research and writing in the school's Legal Research and Writing Program.
Before joining McDermott, Alison worked as a business analyst in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Alison is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Illinois.
