Mr. Samuels was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1958 with a bachelor of science degree majoring in accounting. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School and earned J.D. in 1961.
He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1962 and since then has been admitted to the United States District Courts of the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York as well as the Second Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.
His practice concentrates on commercial litigation, estate litigation, real estate and construction litigation. He has also done significant work in defense of products liability litigation, matrimonial litigation, litigation involving energy issues as well as litigation involving intellectual property. He has represented for many years, one of the largest non-utility generators. He has extensive experience in mediation, arbitration and trials. His practice is mainly in the United States but he has represented entities in France and Germany as well.
His hobbies include directing community theater as well as music, tennis, attending theater and walking. |
