Allan Collautt combines the qualities of a humanitarian, a leader, a designer, and a businessman. His personal experiences of living and working in six countries and his academic background in economics and mathematical modeling establish him as an individual with a rare quality to understand and model social phenomena of varying levels of complexity. Having founded ACA in 1982, Dr. Collautt spent the first seven years of his entrepreneurial career as a leader and a direct participant in numerous ACA engagements with Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies, federal government agencies, large medical facilities, and charitable organizations. From 1987 through 1991, his company was slowly transitioning to providing consulting services and information technology products for public welfare agencies, which became the field of Dr. Collautt's calling, commitment, and compassion. Despite or possibly because of the lack of formal education in direct delivery of public services, Mr. Collautt has succeeded in interpreting and modeling service delivery cycle in public welfare in uniform terms that make ACA approach and models applicable to practically every system of public assistance. He has accomplished a challenging task of organizing his company around common vision, philosophy, and values and sharing with ACA staff his passion and personal commitment to enhancing public systems of care. Having led ACA through many projects that resulted in the implementation of pioneering solutions and having developed and fostered the ACA Executive Management Team, Mr. Collautt has transitioned recently to the role of company strategist and educator, both internally and outside of the ACA boundaries. His consulting engagements in pacesetting projects, his continued modeling activities, his voluntary participation in community integration initiatives, and his recognized leadership in international public welfare endeavors contribute to his livelong professional development and his image of a humanitarian. |
