Mr. Frew was Vice President of Strategic Integration at Northrop Grumman Space Technology (formerly TRW Space & Electronics). He was responsible for leading integration of market area strategy, cultivating strategic business relationships, and overseeing the business development organization day-to-day operations. Mr. Frew was previously Vice President and General Manager of TRW Space and Technology Division. The division was responsible for spacecraft design, development, manufacturing and test, laser system design, development, manufacturing and test, sensor systems and photonics research. Prior to that, he was Deputy General Manager of TRW Defense Systems Division which managed national defense space system prime contracts. Mr. Frew has held various functional and program management positions on programs for the U.S. defense and civil space community including Group Director of Systems Engineering and Program Manager for major defense and NASA programs. Mr. Frew received a bachelor's degree in science engineering and a master's degree in instrumentation engineering (computers, information and control) from the University of Michigan. He is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School Executive Program. Mr. Frew is on the teaching faculty of UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science and is a venture partner with ITU Ventures. Mr. Frew is a member of the Board of Trustees of the California Science Center. |
