BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: Allen practices in the areas of appellate law, election law, and civil litigation. He has represented government and private clients before state and federal courts in a variety of cases, including challenges of state laws and local ordinances, government investigations, and commercial matters. Allen obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Auburn University and his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law. Following law school, Allen served as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward E. Carnes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
