Mr. Barr is chief financial officer of GT Nexus. Mr. Barr served most recently as CFO of SmartAge.com, an application service provider (ASP) with products and services enabling small businesses to sell more effectively through online promotion, distribution and customer management. Prior to joining SmartAge, he served as vice president, finance for New Era of Networks, Inc. (NEON), an e-business integration software company, where he was responsible for domestic mergers and acquisitions. Prior to NEON, Mr. Barr was CFO of Century Analysis, Inc., an enterprise application integration company which was acquired by NEON, and CFO of Sanctuary Woods Multimedia Corp., a software company producing educational and entertainment software. From 1980 to 1994, Mr. Barr served in a variety of operating management and corporate roles for Time Warner Inc. including worldwide business manager - TIME Magazine, director of investor relations for Time Warner and chief operating officer of Hippocrates Partners, Time Inc's health publishing unit. Mr. Barr has a Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University. |
