Before co-founding Mobixell, Amir Aharoni served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Optibase Ltd. (NASDAQ:OBAS), a leading specialist in the delivery of MPEG-based digital video over ATM and IP-based networks. Amir oversaw Optibase's sales, marketing, R&D operations and human resources departments, and was responsible for the company's five wholly-owned subsidiaries worldwide. Prior to this, Amir was part of the founding team of VDOnet Corp., an Internet video-streaming and video-conferencing technology company, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering. He also worked for several years at Intel's design center in Israel. Amir holds a BSEE/CS (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Engineering from the Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology), and received his MBA from Tel Aviv University. |
