Ms. Christen practices in all areas of employee benefits law. Her experiences involve compliance and design of qualified retirement plans (including governmental and private sector defined benefit plans and profit sharing and 401(k) plans), sections 457 or 403(b) plans, SEP or other nonqualified plans, and health and other welfare plans (including cafeteria plans, severance plans, COBRA and HIPAA issues); advising clients on employee benefit concerns in mergers and acquisitions; and ERISA litigation.
Before joining Dykema, Ms. Christen practiced employee benefits law for a boutique benefits firm and prior to that a major Detroit-based law firm. She also clerked for the Ohio Court of Appeals.
