Amy Coveno joined the WMUR news staff in August 2007. She anchors Saturday and Sunday mornings and reports during the week. Prior to landing in the Granite State, Amy worked as a general assignment reporter in Dayton, Ohio. She began her on-air career in Lowell, Mass., as a one-man-band reporter. Her favorite part of the job is telling stories about people in extraordinary circumstances. Amy holds a B.A. in technical journalism from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. She and her husband have four children and are happy to be back in New England after years of globetrotting for her husband's Air Force career. In her free time -- what free time? -- she is either cheering on the sidelines of a soccer field or working on the family's 100-year-old farm house. |
