Anastasia M. Song joins CoalTek as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for business analysis and corporate development, as well as for building the company�s financial infrastructure. Song brings over 20 years of experience in the energy and finance areas. Most recently she served as Executive Vice President of Hawkeye, LLC (a large power systems contractor), positioning the company for exit which culminated in its sale to the Tenaska Power Fund. Song has consulted for private equity firms (including Warburg Pincus) on electric power issues, served as interim CFO for the Long Island Power Authority (a $2.5 billion electric utility) and as VP of Corporate Finance for Sithe Energies, Inc., building its energy generation portfolio. Earlier in her career, she was an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston. Ms. Song's board appointments include six years as a Commissioner for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and on the board of Plug Power, Inc. She holds a BA in Economics from Bryn Mawr, an MBA with Honors in Finance from Fordham University, and has passed the CPA Examinations. |
