Andrea Hunolt is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa�s San Francisco office. She has over five years of experience representing attorneys in career transitions, and has placed over 50 attorneys in the Bay Area. Andrea is a Bay Area native, earned her JD from UC Hastings College of the Law and has been a part of the Bay Area legal community for over nine years.
Andrea has placed candidates in a broad range of positions including high end boutique firms, industry specialized regional firms, in-house positions and large international firms. She has also assisted relocating attorneys, providing them with insider knowledge of the Bay Area legal community and introductions to top Bay Area and national firms. Through this experience, Andrea has developed a unique perspective on the Bay Area�s legal community and the issues that matter to associate attorneys. Andrea prides herself on her consideration of long term career objectives when assisting an attorney in a transition. For this reason, Andrea�s candidates consistently send friends and colleagues to her for representation and also come back to her when they are ready to make another move.
Andrea participates in organizations such as the California Young Lawyers Association and the ABA�s Young Lawyers Division to continue to develop her knowledge of the legal market. She shares with these organizations what she learns from young attorneys in an effort to have a positive impact on the practice of law as a profession.
Andrea obtained her BA from UC San Diego in Political Science. While in law school, Andrea taught in the UC Hastings Legal Education Opportunity Program, helping other students successfully complete their first year. In 2006 Andrea served on the executive committee of the California Young Lawyers Association, representing San Francisco and Marin attorneys in their first ten years of practice before the California State Bar. Andrea regularly speaks for various organizations on issues of legal career management and development. |
