Andrea Lee Negroni is an attorney in the field of financial services regulation and an advisor to companies in the area of outsourcing and offshoring business and legal services. Early in her career, she was an officer at a national residential mortgage company and later, an executive at a national real estate asset management firm. She is the author of several law books and the editor-in-chief of two monthly newsletters, including the LPO Network, which reports on developments in the legal outsource processing field. She is a frequent speaker at conferences of the American Conference Institute, Mortgage Bankers Association and other professional and industry associations. Ms. Negroni has conducted due diligence reviews of several independent mortgage companies prior to their acquisitions or IPOs. She has conducted 50-state surveys of virtually every substantive area of regulatory compliance of interest to residential mortgage lenders. Under a USAID contract, Ms. Negroni advised the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Slovakia on the implementation of a private mortgage banking system in that country. In 2007, she completed a tour of several business process outsource (BPO) and legal process oursource (LPO) companies in India. Professional Activities Ms. Negroni is a member of the District of Columbia and Florida Bar Associations, the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women, and SCRIBES. Ms. Negroni has served as a member of the Advisory Council of the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR) and on the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington. She is Treasurer of the Columbia University Club of Washington, D.C. and a member of the Columbia University Club in New York. |
