Mr. Sroka is an associate in the Bankruptcy & Finance Department and resident in Brown Rudnick�s Boston office. His practice is centered on structured finance, securitization, project finance and bankruptcy.
Mr. Sroka�s structured finance experience includes representation of issuers and underwriters in public and private debt financings, including the securitization of new asset classes. Recent matters include the securitization of tobacco legal fees and equipment leases and the financing of intellectual property assets. His project finance experience includes representation of investors in an international financing of a renewable energy development. He also has experience advising clients on the application of U.S. accounting rules in securitization transactions.
As part of the firm�s Structured Resolution Group, Mr. Sroka helps to analyze the issues surrounding the subprime market collapse in an effort to help clients identify and execute on arbitrage and repackaging strategies.
Mr. Sroka was formerly a Certified Public Accountant and, prior to joining Brown Rudnick, was employed as a Tax Associate at the former Arthur Andersen LLP.
