Experience:
Andrew Copley represents clients in a wide variety of corporate and commercial transactions and provides advice ranging from the diverse requirements of the small private company through to sales and acquisitions by multi-national corporations, in addition to providing advice to listed public companies. He has detailed knowledge of the private equity and venture capital industry and the issues that arise in management buy-outs and other transactions backed by institutional finance. He is noted for his corporate work in Legal Business' Legal Experts 2007.
As head of the firm�s Chemicals Group in London, Andrew focuses in particular upon multi-national and domestic corporate transactions within the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and biotech industries. He is familiar with issues in the industries that arise daily, as well as those that arise as a part of transactions within the industry.
He is the secretary and founder of a Roundtable of senior in-house legal advisers within the chemical companies across Europe who meet quarterly to discuss topics relevant to the industry, and he regularly speaks at seminars and workshops.
