Andrew "Andy" Esparza serves as senior vice president Human Resources (HR). In this role he is responsible for driving the strategy and supporting initiatives to attract motivate develop and retain world-class talent in support of Dell's business goals and objectives. He also has responsibility for Corporate Security on a worldwide basis.
Mr. Esparza joined Dell in 1997 as a director of HR in the Product Group and soon moved to become responsible for the company's worldwide staffing efforts. He led Dell's HR organization in Europe for three years where he expanded talent improved employee satisfaction and supported the entrance of Dell in new locations. Additionally he served as vice president of human resources for the company's Americas region. He currently sits on the board of directors for aDellante Dell's internal networking group responsible for the development of Hispanic employees within the company.
Prior to joining Dell he held human resource positions with NCR Corporation and Bechtel Power Corporation.
Mr. Esparza earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management from San Diego State University. |
