Andrew Weidinger joins the Falcons in his first season as a personnel scout. Prior to joining the Falcons, he served as the Assistant Director of Football operations for the Arizona Wildcats, with primary emphasis on Arizona's recruiting efforts. Weidinger has served as a non-coaching graduate aide, working on recruiting, scouting, travel and video projects as well as various office-related functions.
He received a degree in political science in May 2004 and completed his master's degree in information resources and library sciences in May 2007.
He spent late summer and early fall of 2006 in a preseason internship with the Falcons, assisting in scouting and evaluating potential personnel among players on all teams throughout the league.
Weidinger, 24, served as a volunteer assistant coach at Thunderbird High School in Phoenix from 2000-2003. |
