Andy Fu Co-Founder, Vice President of Engineering Prior to co-founding Eklin, Mr. Fu was the Director of Engineering at PhorMax Corporation and responsible for development of a high-performance low-cost computed radiography product for the human healthcare market. Mr. Fu brings to Eklin his extensive experience in human healthcare PACS systems and DICOM medical devices and has been instrumental in the development of the Eklin Digital Practice� architecture. Mr. Fu founded a number of technology companies over the past 15 years, providing software solutions for paperless medical records and Internet services. These solutions were deployed at such companies as Kaiser Permanente and General Electric. Mr. Fu also held key engineering management positions at Wang Laboratories, Lowell, Massachusetts and was responsible for the development of Wang�s desktop computing products. Mr. Fu holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In his spare time, Mr. Fu is an avid amateur astronomer and inventor, recently awarded a U.S. patent in optical stabilization techniques. Mr. Fu is an accomplished classical guitar player and enjoys public performances. |
